Print your FoldParcel PDF at actual size

Keep the dimensions you designed—from the downloaded PDF to the first fold.

Already tiled? Do not choose Poster.

FoldParcel has already split the template into pages. Print the existing pages at 100%, one PDF page per sheet.

Before you print

Your FoldParcel PDF already contains the pages needed for the template. Print each PDF page on one sheet. Do not use Poster to tile these pages again.

1. Match the paper to the file

Use the format selected when you exported: A4 is 210 × 297 mm; Letter is 8.5 × 11 in. If you need the other format, export the project again. Do not use Fit to adapt the page.

2. Choose Actual size

Set scaling to Actual size or 100%. Use one PDF page per sheet and single-sided printing. Turn off Fit and Shrink oversized pages. Check the preview for missing marks before printing.

3. Check the first sheet

Measure the printed 100 mm ruler with a physical ruler before you cut. Measure the printed line, not an on-screen illustration. If it is not 100 mm, correct the print settings and try again.

4. Join tiled sheets

Lay out the numbered pages in order. The example uses two A4 pages with 10 mm of duplicated artwork. Trim the indicated overlap edge, match the registration marks, and tape the sheets together. The 10 mm refers to printed overlap, not the untrimmed paper margins.

Small grey targets align neighbouring sheets. They may appear inside the template; do not cut along them.

5. Cut and fold

Check the joined outline before cutting. Cut solid outer lines, score dashed fold lines, and follow the assembly guide for your structure.

Quick fixes

Correct the print setting or file layout before modifying the template dimensions.

ProblemWhat to check
Ruler is too shortTurn off Fit or Shrink and select Actual size.
Marks are croppedCheck paper format and printer margins. Re-export with suitable margins instead of shrinking.
Pages do not alignCheck both pages' scale and match printed registration marks, not raw sheet edges.
