Save and restore a project
Keep a named copy in this browser and a downloaded JSON backup for work you need to recover elsewhere.
Reviewed October 27, 2026
Save a useful version
Choose Save project and give it a recognisable name. The saved copy includes the selected structure, dimensions and supported display and print settings. Use My projects to reopen it.
Saving locally does not create an account or a cloud copy. Another browser, device or browser profile has its own storage. Clearing this site's browser data can remove its saved projects.
Rename, duplicate or delete
Rename a project when its purpose becomes clearer. Duplicate it before experimenting with a new stock or allowance so you can retain the previous settings. Opening a saved copy restores its parameters; inspect them before making another print.
Delete removes the selected saved entry in this browser after the stated confirmation. It does not delete JSON, SVG or PDF files already downloaded to your device.
Recover from unavailable storage
Browser settings, private browsing or storage limits can prevent a write. If saving fails, the interface keeps your current dimensions and shows an unsaved state. Download project JSON before closing the tab, then retry local saving when appropriate.
A Saved label is reserved for a completed storage operation. If you are unsure which version is stored, make a backup of the active workspace first and reopen the saved copy only after you have preserved it. See JSON help for importing that backup.
