NOTES FROM THE WORKBENCH
Keep a useful record for the next box
A useful project record preserves the inputs and the reason behind them, not just a picture of the finished box.

Name it for a recognisable task
Choose a name such as card deck — 40 cards — blue stock rather than final box. Include the object or use, and distinguish versions when the material or allowance changes. Keep private details out of names if you plan to share the file.
A local project records the selected structure and dimensions. Your written notes can add the stock product, scoring method and what you observed in the trial.
Make a portable copy
Browser storage belongs to this browser on this device. Clearing site data, changing profiles or using a different device can make that saved list unavailable. A downloaded JSON backup gives you a separate copy you can keep with the project materials.
Download a new backup after a useful change. Give the file a recognisable location and retain the old version when it documents a meaningful comparison. The application cannot verify whether your browser's download reached your chosen folder.
Inspect before repeating
When you return to the project, confirm the object measurements, material thickness, dimension mode and paper layout. A similarly named paper product or a new printer is a reason to check again.
Print and measure the calibration ruler before cutting a full run. Review the opening sequence with one sample if the project has not been made for a while.
